Welcome to Senti-mental. These Terms of Use govern your use of the senti-mental.app website and, once it launches, the Senti-mental mobile app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language on purpose, if anything is unclear, email hello@senti-mental.app and a human (Guthrie) will reply.

About Senti-mental
Senti-mental is a privacy-first mental health analytics app designed to help people understand what's actually affecting their mental health and help them discover habits and behaviors to get better. Right now, this website exists to explain what we're building and to let you join the waitlist for early access.

Senti-mental is not medical care
Senti-mental is an analytics tool. It helps you track what you choose to track and see patterns in your own data. It is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for any of those things. Insights the app surfaces are statistical observations about your data, they always come with the reminder that correlation isn't causation, and they should never be used to start, stop, or change medication or treatment. Always talk to a qualified professional about medical decisions.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency services, or in the US, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

The waitlist and founder pricing
Joining the waitlist is free and has no commitment to buy or download anything in the future, it just adds your name and email to our list so we can tell you about early access. We've promised founder pricing to waitlist members, and we intend to honor that when the app launches: the specific offer will be described in the email we send you. Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee a launch date, and we may adjust timing as the product develops. You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing hello@senti-mental.app.

Newsletter
If you subscribe to updates, we'll rarely send more than one email a month. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing always works.

The app (when it arrives)
When the Senti-mental app launches, these terms will be updated, including subscription billing, free trials, and cancellation, all of which will be handled through Apple's App Store (and Google Play, when available) under their standard rules. We'll post the updated terms here before the app is available. How we handle your data is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property
The content on this site, text, graphics, logos, product designs, and the Senti-mental name and brand, belongs to Senti-Mental Apps LLC. You're welcome to share links to the site but please don't copy, modify, or redistribute our content or branding without written permission.

Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to do anything unlawful, don't attempt to disrupt or compromise the site or the forms on it, and don't misrepresent yourself when signing up.

Third-party services
The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, our website host and the app stores). Those services have their own terms and policies, and we're not responsible for their practices.

No warranties
The Service is provided "as is." We work hard to make it accurate and reliable, but we can't promise the site will always be available or error-free, and nothing on it constitutes a promise of specific app features or launch timing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Senti-Mental Apps LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; we'll post changes here with a new date, and material changes will be announced the same way as privacy policy changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
